Empowering Hawaiʻi's Young Leaders with Culturally Conscious Mindfulness

‘Ewalu Industries contracted Pilina Center for Wellbeing to deliver Mindful Mālama, a year-long collaboration aimed at building an economically resilient Hawaiʻi by empowering the next generation of homegrown leaders. Pilina Center’s Jo Qina‘au shared with Hawaiʻi’s future leaders about stress and coping with a focus on mindfulness skills and emotion regulation. Rooted in the values of Hawaiʻi, this project was a part of Lead for America’s Lead for Hawaiʻi program, bringing together local governments, community and business leaders, with dedicated Fellows from Hawaiʻi on their paths of service and leadership.
